The Red String Theory (2025)
A short film about the East Asian red string theory, where two souls are connected by a metaphorical red string that holds them together until they finally meet at the right moment.
Shot on Sony FX30. Starring Fern Aquino and Sarah Heilig. Produced, directed, and edited by Aisha Hussain for MSGA “Cinematography” class. This film was said to be the gold standard of the class by Professor Alan McIntyre.
Live-Switched Talk Show
Commuters and Their Cars (2025)
Produced and edited by Aisha Hussain, starring Abdullah Khan & Aisha Hussain, and Tanvi Dave as the host to talk about Rutgers commuting and car culture on campus.
Used a 4 camera set-up with a live-switcher and a crew of 6 people to make this production come to life for a “Media Field Production” class at Rutgers.
