My name is Aisha Hussain and I am an artist, embodying a multitude of art forms in my expressions. From physical art forms like painting and drawing to digital works of film and photography, I love to create.
To create is to bring something into existence. If you ponder on that for some time, you realize that you can create just about anything, especially that which comes from the heart, or that which you are interested in deeply. I have created many things in my time as an “artist”, and in shyness of listing them all, I encourage you to explore this website to see the full collection of my works.
Art is a form of expression that holds no bounds for me, it is a creation that is mine and a way of looking into my chaotic mind. Therefore, throughout my life I have tried to fit myself into the shallow box of the labels: “painter”, “photographer”, “writer”, “editor”. When in actuality, I could have been all of them at the same time. My awakening is a recent one, where I indeed realized that being an artist means whatever I want it to mean. I love to create and I will continue to do so without such broad categorizations.
Art is a multitude of mediums and can be whatever we make it to be. With that being said, I am so grateful you visited my website, and I hope you leave with a sense of inspiration or even motivation to keep creating and doing what you’re doing, art or not art.
